Context Corner · Where Context Meets the Plumb Line

The goal is not just to sound good.
The goal is to be sound.

Context Corner. Where context meets the plumb line.

A space where we slow down, test what we hear, search the Scriptures, and bring things back to the plumb line.

What This Is

There is a lot being said these days.
A lot of noise. A lot of opinions.
But I care about what the Word of God actually says.

I am not here to hand out religious hand-me-downs.

I am not here to build on assumption.

I am not here to push opinion like it's truth.

01
Biblical accuracy.
I care what the text actually says — not what sounds good, sounds deep, or sounds spiritual. Every piece here is tested against the plumb line.
02
Context over culture.
Scripture stays in the story it belongs to. No proof-texts. No soundbites. No repeating things just because other people keep repeating them.
03
Biblically secure.
Everything here should be tested — even what's found on this page. Because the goal is not just to sound good. The goal is to be sound.

Reader Letters

03 / featured

If a piece stirs something, send it. These are the letters that came back.

I had been performing a wholeness I did not have. This piece gave me language for what justification already settled — and permission to stop carrying what was never mine to carry.

Sarah, Ohio On Healed & Healing

Nobody ever told me my position was secure while my condition was still being transformed. I thought I was failing at healing. Turns out I was just healing.

Mara, Tennessee On Healed & Healing

I read Yoke Part 2 three times before I could name what I had been under. "Deformed instead of discipled" was the sentence that broke me open.

Jada, Michigan On Yoke, Part 2
Your Turn

Send Yours.

If the piece stirred something, I want to read it. Featured letters are chosen with care and published with your permission.
